2011 Return Policy
Midyette Fine Jewelry guarantees the craftsmanship and material used in our custom Jewelry and all characterizations and descriptions communicated to you during the design and production process in accurate. You may cancel the process at any time provided you agree to reimburse our business costs incurred up to that point ~ including the designers time, any CAD files or fees from the manufacturer, and any stones or metal purchased unless those materials are deemed reusable by the manufacturer.
A partial deposit determined by the complexity of the design is due before the design process begins. This deposit is non-refundable for any reason unless no initial designs have been received by the client, and no costs have been incurred by the Jewelry designer or manufacturer. Final payments are due in full at the completion of the piece, after which your Jewelry will be shipped via insured UPS (costs incurred by the client) or delivered by hand.
Payment by Credit Card or Cash: Upon receipt of final payment, Jewelry will be delivered or shipped the following business day.
Payment by Check:Checks must be cleared before delivery or shipment of your custom order. All returned checks will be subject to a minimum fee of $25.00. If Midyette Fine Jewelry or its agents institute any action to enforce payment of a check returned for any reason, including stop payments, the clients agrees to pay all costs associated with the collection, including but not limited to court costs and attorney fees.
Jewelry that is created as a custom design on a commission basis is not returnable for any reason except if the Jewelry arrives damaged. If your piece is damaged during shipping, or later becomes loose or unusable due to a mechanism malfunction, Midyette Fine Jewelry will cover shipping costs and repair costs until the pieces is acceptable to the customer.
Warranty
Our Jewelry has a lifetime warranty for as long as Midyette Fine Jewelry LLC is in existence. The client agrees that normal wear and tear is expected as Jewelry is worn, and Midyette Fine Jewelry will not be responsible for refurbishing your Jewelry to its original condition without sufficient payment. Your Jewelry will need maintenance over time, and will, free of charge, inspect your Jewelry as often as you like. We may recommend replacing or repairing a prong or any other parts of the mountings in order to eliminate the possibility of further damage or loss of stones. In the event that a repar is required, you will be charged a normal fee. If the customer chooses not to have the required repair done at the time it is recommended by Midyette Custom Jewelry, the warranty will be void. The warranty will be considered invalid should the article of jewlery be worked on at any time by any other jeweler other than Midyette Custom Jewelry. This warranty is NOT AN INSURANCE POLICY, and does not cover accidental loss of Jewelry or stones, of damage due to neglect, or of the theft of the item.
